On November 19, 8 Estonian companies traveled to Switzerland to learn more about the Swiss market and business culture.
During the project, Estonian producers from various industries were presented to the local Swiss companies regarding potential collaboration opportunities. This time, the industries represented were IT, furniture, design, construction, cosmetics, and advertising. Companies were eager to meet new business partners and work on serious and long-term business relationships with local enterprises.
The event was opened by a guided tour to Technopark Zürich, a top location for technology transfer in Switzerland and a key point of contact for innovative start-ups looking to transform knowledge into marketable products and services. The spaces are equipped with the latest infrastructure to house a stimulating environment for people from various branches, disciplines, universities, research institutes, start-ups, and established enterprises. Around 300 companies are based in Technopark – organizations of the fields of science, technology, and economy, among them ETH Zürich, Swiss Post logistics and digitec.
Following the common event, each company then traveled to their own individual business meetings with local companies, organized by Gateway&Partners.
